How information is used

• To respond to enquiries and assess the requested work.
• To prepare quotations, arrange visits and manage bookings.
• To deliver agreed work and maintain appropriate customer records.
• To meet legal, accounting, safety or dispute handling obligations.

The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing an agreed contract, legitimate business interests and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

WhatsApp, telephone and external services

The quotation form prepares a message on your device and opens WhatsApp. The website does not store the completed form fields or message content. If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, telephone, Google or Nextdoor, those services process information under their own privacy terms.

The reviews section requests current rating and review information from Google Maps when the section is opened. The website does not store that Google Maps content. Google may receive standard technical information required to deliver the content. Google handles it under the Google Privacy Policy.

Sharing and retention

Information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers, professional advisers, appropriately engaged trades or authorities where this is necessary for the enquiry, agreed work, legal compliance or the protection of legitimate interests. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and any applicable record keeping obligations.

Conversion measurement and technical data

The website records a non-personal enquiry reference, the page and call to action used, the selected service division and campaign or referral information supplied by the browser. This allows Onyx to compare enquiry sources with work later marked booked or lost. It does not store your name, telephone number, email, postcode or enquiry text in the conversion report. Campaign attribution is held temporarily in your browser session. The hosting service may also process essential technical information such as IP address, browser details and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Your rights and contact

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to or request deletion of your personal information.
